I am a 22 year old self taught, lifestyle photographer currently based in the South West, just off the beautiful Rame Peninsula in Cornwall.
As cliché as it sounds, photography is something I have always been hugely passionate about since a young age. I have always been fascinated with cameras and the ability they have to capture such natural and special moments, in both photography and film. I was always that person you'd find behind the camera, rather than in front of it. Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to puruse as a career. If i am honest, I always overlooked the idea of making my hobby become a future as I was told it wasn't possible, it wasn't relaistic and I needed a 'real job'. Once I had finished school, I went on to study Television and Film production at the Plymouth College Of Art and this is where my love for photography really flourished and I knew I had to push myself to make my dream a reality. I have been and continue to be in a job for the last few years which I truly adore however I really hope one day in the future I will be able to put every second into photography full time. When i am not working, you will catch me on the sofa with a cup of tea spending time with my family and friends, catching the early morning and evening light, baking brownies (this has turned into an unhealthy obsession since lockdown began!) and taking long coastal strolls with my gorgeous little Jack Russell Max.
I adore shooting a range of styles from Fashion and Family right through to Weddings and Products. Within all of these, I take a relaxed, natural approach, capturing nothing but laughter, happiness and everything in between. No poses, nothing staged, just simply surprises. I aim to capture those special moments. Moments that may only last a split second, but last a lifetime thanks to a photograph.
I hope to be able to continue to do this for years to come and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
